Daily Devotional – I will Gather all Nations against Jerusalem to Battle

For I will gather ALL NATIONS AGAINST Jerusalem to battle; and the CITY shall be taken, and the HOUSES rifled, and the WOMEN ravished; and HALF of the CITY shall go forth into CAPTIVITY, and the RESIDUE of the PEOPLE shall NOT be cut off from the CITY. (Zec 14:2)

Did you know this is speaking of the battle of Armageddon? Did you know that it is God that calls the nations against Jerusalem to battle? It is at this time that God will destroy those nations that came against Israel. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. (Rev 19:11-21)

Daily Devotional – If thou, LORD, shouldest Mark Iniquities

If thou, LORD, shouldest MARK iniquities, O Lord, WHO shall stand? But there is FORGIVENESS with thee, that THOU mayest be FEARED. I wait for the LORD, my SOUL doth WAIT, and in his WORD do I HOPE. (Psa 130:3-5)

Do you wait for the Lord? Is your hope in his Word? “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” (Rm 4:6-8) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39) “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” (Heb 8:12-13)

Daily Devotional – I Gave my Back to the Smiters

I gave my BACK to the SMITERS, and my CHEEKS to them that PLUCKED off the HAIR: I hid NOT my FACE from SHAME and SPITTING. For the Lord GOD will HELP me; therefore shall I NOT be CONFOUNDED: therefore have I SET MY FACE like a FLINT, and I KNOW that I shall not be ASHAMED. He is near that JUSTIFIETH me; who will CONTEND with ME? let us STAND together: who is MINE adversary? let him COME NEAR to me. Behold, the Lord GOD will HELP me; who is he that shall CONDEMN me? lo, they all shall WAX old as a GARMENT; the MOTH shall EAT them UP. (Isa 50:6-9)

The Jews cried out to crucify their Messiah. “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” (Acts 2:22-24) “Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.” (Mt 27:26-31) Thank you Jesus for giving your life for the sins of the world, to save my life and the worlds.

Daily Devotional – Behold we Shall not all Sleep

Behold, we shall not all SLEEP, but we shall all be CHANGED, In a MOMENT, in the TWINKLING of an eye, at the LAST trump: (text from 1 Cor 15:51-52) The Lord HIMSELF shall DESCEND from HEAVEN with a SHOUT, with the VOICE of the ARCHANGEL, with the TRUMP of God: and the DEAD in CHRIST shall RISE first. Then WE which are ALIVE and REMAIN shall be CAUGHT up TOGETHER with them in the CLOUDS, to meet the LORD in the AIR: to EVER BE with the LORD. (1 Thess 4:16-17)

Did you know that Jesus said the harvest is the end of the world? “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Mt 13:30) The parable explained. “The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;” (Mt 13:38-41) Did you know that Jesus taught the resurrection was the last day? “And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.” (Jn 6:39) This is also said in (Jn 6:40, 44, 54 and Jn 11:24) when Martha is speaking concerning the death of her brother Lazarus. “Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (Jn 11:24-26)

Daily Devotional – That Blindness in Part is Happened to Israel

For I WOULD NOT, brethren, that ye should be IGNORANT of this MYSTERY, lest ye should be WISE in your own CONCEITS; that BLINDNESS in PART is happened to ISRAEL, until the FULNESS of the GENTILES be come in. And so ALL ISRAEL shall be SAVED: as it is WRITTEN, There shall come out of SION the DELIVERER, and shall TURN away UNGODLINESS from Jacob: For this is MY COVENANT unto them, when I shall TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS. (Rm 11:25)

Did you know that blindness in part is happened to Israel? Did you know that God has a separate covenant with them after the fulness of the Gentiles be come in? Notice carefully after saying “all Israel shall be saved” the Apostle Paul says, “as it is written”. He then tells us what will take place but not every place that it is written in the Old Testament. It is up to us to know and understand this. One such place is Zechariah, “Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.” (Zech 14:1-5)

Daily Devotional – For they Persecute Him whom Thou hast Smitten

Let their HABITATION be DESOLATE; and let NONE dwell in their TENTS. For they PERSECUTE HIM whom thou hast SMITTEN; and they TALK to the GRIEF of those whom thou hast WOUNDED. Add INIQUITY unto their INIQUITY: and let them NOT come into thy RIGHTEOUSNESS. Let them be BLOTTED OUT of the BOOK OF THE LIVING, and NOT BE WRITTEN with the RIGHTEOUS. (Psa 69:25-28)

King David prophesying concerning the natural seed of Israel prophesies that because they had persecuted their Messiah of whom God had smitten adding iniquity unto their iniquity let their name be blotted out of the book of the living and not be written with the righteous.

Daily Devotional – The sun will be Turned into Darkness, the Moon into Blood

“And I will shew WONDERS in HEAVEN above, and SIGNS in the EARTH beneath; BLOOD, and FIRE, and VAPOUR of smoke: The SUN shall be turned into DARKNESS, and the MOON into BLOOD, BEFORE that GREAT and NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME: And it SHALL come to PASS, that whosoever shall CALL on the name of the LORD shall be SAVED.” (Acts 2:19-21)

Did you know this prophecy where the sun is turned into darkness and the moon into blood takes place before the day of the Lord begins? Did you know this is the same prophecy of seal six in the book of Revelation? “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” (Rev 6:12-15) Verse 17 specifically telling us so. “For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Rev 6:17)

Did you know that the portion of the prophecy that says, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21) only applies to the time of the day of the Lord when God saves Israel at the battle of Armageddon as seen more clearly from the Book of Joel of which the Apostle Peter in the book of Acts is making reference to? “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” (Joel 2:31-32)

Daily Devotional – Let their Table become a Snare

“Let their TABLE become a SNARE before them: and that which SHOULD have been for their WELFARE, let it become a TRAP. Let their EYES be DARKENED, that they SEE NOT; and make their LOINS continually to SHAKE. POUR out thine INDIGNATION upon them, and let thy WRATHFUL ANGER TAKE HOLD OF THEM.” (Psa 69:22-24)

Have you ever wondered what happened to the natural seed of Israel? Have you wondered why so many horrible atrocities have happened to them? They rejected their Messiah! They were continually committing whoredoms against God. King David prophesies concerning them for their rejection of God and his Messiah. “What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?” (Rm 11:7-12)

Daily Devotional – I AM THAT I AM

I AM THAT I AM (Ex 3:14), The Word that was with Me (Jn 1:1), The Word made Flesh; (Jn 1:14) The Everlasting Father, The Mighty God! (Isa 9:6)

Jesus claimed to be the I AM. The Jews understood that Jesus claimed to be God. “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” (Jn 8:58-59) God is the I AM even as God is the Word even as the Word is God’s thoughts, plan, and reasoning within his mind. The Prophet Isaiah prophesied to us that Jesus would be called The mighty God and The everlasting Father. Thus the revealed name of God in the New Testament is Jesus.

Daily Devotional – Thou hast Known my Reproach

Thou hast known my REPROACH, and my SHAME, and my DISHONOUR: mine adversaries are all before thee. REPROACH hath broken my heart; and I am FULL of HEAVINESS: and I LOOKED for some to take pity, but there was NONE; and for COMFORTERS, but I found NONE. They GAVE me also GALL for my MEAT; and in my THIRST they GAVE me VINEGAR to DRINK. (Psa 69:19-21)

We are told by the writer of Hebrews “let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” (Heb 12:1-3)
