Daily Devotional – Neither wilt thou Suffer thine Holy One to see Corruption

I have SET the LORD always BEFORE me: because he is at my RIGHT hand, I shall not be MOVED. Therefore my HEART is GLAD, and my GLORY REJOICETH: my FLESH also shall REST in HOPE. For thou wilt NOT leave my SOUL in HELL; neither wilt thou SUFFER thine Holy One to see CORRUPTION. Thou wilt SHOW me the PATH of LIFE: in thy PRESENCE is FULNESS of JOY; at thy RIGHT HAND there are PLEASURES for EVERMORE.

When Jesus died and was buried, did you know that his body did not see corruption? “For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.” (Acts 2:25-28) “And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.” (Acts 13:34-37)

Daily Devotional – I will put ENMITY between THEE and the WOMAN

And the LORD God said unto the SERPENT, Because thou hast done this, thou art CURSED above all cattle, and ABOVE every BEAST of the field; upon thy BELLY shalt thou go, and DUST shalt thou EAT all the days of thy LIFE: And I will put ENMITY between THEE and the WOMAN, and between thy SEED and her SEED; it shall BRUISE thy HEAD, and thou shalt BRUISE his HEEL. (Gens 3:14-15)

Did you know this is the first prophecy of the coming of the Messiah? Did you know that God had an eternal purpose in Christ? “According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:” (Eph 3:11) Jesus the Christ was this hostility or enmity between satan’s seed, which were the children of disobedience, and the woman’s seed, this being the virgin Mary and the children of obedience that followed after the gospel of Jesus Christ. “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” (Eph 2:13-16)

Daily Devotional – The Gentiles shall see thy Righteousness

The Gentiles shall see thy RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all KINGS thy GLORY: and thou shalt be called by a NEW NAME. Thou shalt also be a CROWN of GLORY in the hand of the LORD, a ROYAL DIADEM in the hand of thy God. Thou shalt no more be termed FORSAKEN; neither shall thy land any more be termed DESOLATE: but thou shalt be called HEPHZIBAH, and thy land BEULAH: for the LORD DELIGHTETH in thee, and thy land shall be MARRIED.

This prophecy will find it’s fulfillment in the thousand year reign of Jesus Christ. We were told that they would “no more be termed Forsaken”, yet Jesus said unto them “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (Mt 23:38-39) The Prophet Isaiah in chapter 60 prophesies of this New City saying “Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.” (Isa 60:18-22) Notice this is the same thing prophesied concerning the New City in Revelation “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” (Rev 21:23-27) And in Isaiah 60 again, “Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.” (Isa 60:11-12)

Daily Devotional – They shall Look upon Me whom they have Pierced

And I will POUR upon the house of DAVID, and upon the INHABITANTS of JERUSALEM, the SPIRIT of GRACE and of SUPPLICATIONS: and they shall LOOK UPON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED, and THEY SHALL MOURN FOR HIM, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. (Zec 12:10)

Did you know that when the battle of Armageddon is being fought the nation of Israel that is left in Jerusalem will run to their Messiah as he comes with all of his saints to the Mount of Olives? (Zec 14:1-6) Did you know that the Jewish people are still looking for the Prophet Elijah to come? “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” (Mal 4:5-6) When they see their Messiah come they will know that it is Jesus of whom they pierced and realize that they missed the time of their visitation. “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (Mt 23:38-39

Daily Devotional – Then shall the LORD go Forth, and Fight against those Nations

Then shall the LORD go FORTH, and FIGHT against those NATIONS, as when he fought in the DAY OF BATTLE. His FEET shall STAND in that day upon the MOUNT of OLIVES, which is before JERUSALEM on the east, the MOUNT of OLIVES shall CLEAVE in the MIDST thereof TOWARD the east and TOWARD the west, and there shall be a very great VALLEY; half of the mountain shall remove TOWARD the north, and half of it TOWARD the south. (Zech 14:3-4)

Did you know that at this time that God fights against the nations of the world at the battle of Armageddon to save Israel and Jerusalem that it is also at this time that the vail that is spread over the nations will be lifted and they will know there is only one God and Israel is his chosen people and nation. “And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.” (Isa 25:6-8)

Daily Devotional – Not Forsaking the Assembling of Ourselves Together

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Heb 10:25)

How can you be a blessing to the body if you aren’t there? How can you edify the body if you aren’t there? How can you be edified by the body if you aren’t there?

Daily Devotional – I will Gather all Nations against Jerusalem to Battle

For I will gather ALL NATIONS AGAINST Jerusalem to battle; and the CITY shall be taken, and the HOUSES rifled, and the WOMEN ravished; and HALF of the CITY shall go forth into CAPTIVITY, and the RESIDUE of the PEOPLE shall NOT be cut off from the CITY. (Zec 14:2)

Did you know this is speaking of the battle of Armageddon? Did you know that it is God that calls the nations against Jerusalem to battle? It is at this time that God will destroy those nations that came against Israel. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. (Rev 19:11-21)

Daily Devotional – Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

PRAY for the PEACE of JERUSALEM: they shall PROSPER that LOVE thee. PEACE be within thy WALLS, and PROSPERITY within thy PALACES. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, PEACE be within thee. (Psa 122:6-8) VIOLENCE shall NO more be HEARD in thy LAND, wasting nor destruction WITHIN thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls SALVATION, and thy gates PRAISE. (Isa 60:18)

Before the time we can have true peace in Jerusalem many prophecies must still yet come to pass. Know this. “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.” (1 Thess 5:2-4) The Apostle Paul is directly speaking from the Prophet Isaiah. “Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.” (Isa 13:6-10)

Daily Devotional – If thou, LORD, shouldest Mark Iniquities

If thou, LORD, shouldest MARK iniquities, O Lord, WHO shall stand? But there is FORGIVENESS with thee, that THOU mayest be FEARED. I wait for the LORD, my SOUL doth WAIT, and in his WORD do I HOPE. (Psa 130:3-5)

Do you wait for the Lord? Is your hope in his Word? “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” (Rm 4:6-8) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39) “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” (Heb 8:12-13)

Daily Devotional – I Gave my Back to the Smiters

I gave my BACK to the SMITERS, and my CHEEKS to them that PLUCKED off the HAIR: I hid NOT my FACE from SHAME and SPITTING. For the Lord GOD will HELP me; therefore shall I NOT be CONFOUNDED: therefore have I SET MY FACE like a FLINT, and I KNOW that I shall not be ASHAMED. He is near that JUSTIFIETH me; who will CONTEND with ME? let us STAND together: who is MINE adversary? let him COME NEAR to me. Behold, the Lord GOD will HELP me; who is he that shall CONDEMN me? lo, they all shall WAX old as a GARMENT; the MOTH shall EAT them UP. (Isa 50:6-9)

The Jews cried out to crucify their Messiah. “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” (Acts 2:22-24) “Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.” (Mt 27:26-31) Thank you Jesus for giving your life for the sins of the world, to save my life and the worlds.
