“And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Lk 12:22-34)

“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:” (1 Pet 1:13-14) “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” (Heb 13:5-6) “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Pro 3:5-6)

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” (1 Pet 5:6-9) “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Tim 1:7)

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Cor 10:3-5)

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1 Jn 4:18) “But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” (1 Jn 2:5)

Hebrews 6:10-15
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward His “Name”, the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s promise to you “Surely blessing” I will bless thee and multiplying “I Will Multipy Thee”! This hope we have as an anchor for our soul! For God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love!

Through the “Word of God”—I bring you glad tidings of good things! The Lord is our Helper! If God be for you—who can be against you? I will not fear what man can do to me.

No weapon formed against you shall harm you!

Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me! In my Father’s House are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also!

John 14:1-3
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Luke 12:32
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

The Lord’s Kingdom; Jesus said my Kingdom is not of this earth; but my Kingdom comes in, without observation for it is within you; we the Church are the Lord’s Kingdom!

Jesus came walking on the sea—and when His disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they cried out in fear; But Jesus said, Fear Not it is I—Be not afraid.

Church fear not for Jesus acknowledges your work and Labor of Love toward His Name! In that you have minister to the saints, who are the Lord’s Body, and do presently minister to one another.

God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty. For not many wise men after the flesh, not my mighty, not many Noble are called! God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; But God has chosen us–the poor in spirit, but rich in faith!

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment.

1 John 4:18
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

The perfect love of Christ in us delivers us from all fear from man, from satan, from death and hell.

Matthew 6:25-34
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

There is so much to be said of this beautiful passage of scripture. Things hard for the natural man to really let sink in and process. As is all the Word of God profound statements are made that are contrary to our way of thinking. Mankind is generally worrying about everything. From what is going to be taking place in an hour, a day or two from now, weeks from now, and even years from now. Of course nothing is wrong with applying wisdom and prudence for the future but recognizing that it is all tentative for you are not promised your next breath of life!

James 4:13-15
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

Proverbs 27:1
1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Jesus said to Consider the lilies as a comparison between taking thought of your life, for food, for drink, and for clothing. Even asking “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?” Who among you can by thought add to your own height? In the Gospel of Luke’s account Jesus said “If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?” (Lk 12:26)

God in his provisional care tells us to “Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” The lilies of the field neither toil nor spin yet God has clothed them with more glory than King Solomon in all his glory, his fame, his wisdom, his riches, and all that he had was not “arrayed like one of these”. So “if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”

If we would live by this principle that was taught to us, the cares and worries of life would be a thing of the past “for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” We are then told otherwise we are of little faith!

Matthew 6:33-34
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We are told that we are to seek first “the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. We are then given a warning, “Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Of how much more value are you than a lily that is in the field and gone tomorrow?

Luke 12:4-7
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Jesus tells us not to be afraid “of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.” This again goes against the natural reasoning of mankind. We are then told who we should fear, “ Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.” It is God alone that we should fear not speaking of normal fear that comes when you for example shouldn’t touch a hot iron or stick your hand in fire. God knows every sparrow and not one is forgotten before him while God has numbered “the very hairs of your head”. “Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”

If we would apply these scriptures our life would be virtually stress free. Any time a problem arose all we have to do is apply this scripture:

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The word careful meaning anxious. We are to be anxious for nothing! But “in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

1 Peter 5:5-7
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

We are to cast all of our cares upon Jesus for he cares for us. We are to come to Jesus that we might find rest for our souls! His yoke is easy, and his burden is light. It is our own carnal nature that fights against the rest and peace that is found in Christ Jesus! Clothe yourself with “humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.”

Proverbs 13:15
15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

Therefore get wisdom and understanding.

Proverbs 3:18
13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

Ponder the path of thy feet.

Proverbs 4:25-27
25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Consider the Lilies!

1 John 4:18-21
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment.  How many of you can relate to what this scripture is speaking about?  How many of you are plagued with fear that is tormenting your mind?  What was the answer?  He that fears is not made perfect in love.  So how do you perfect your love in God?

1 John 2:3-6
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

So to perfect your love of God and also see your fears, worries, and anxieties cease you must keep God’s word.  He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.  If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?  We are commanded that he who loves God love his brother also!

Matthew 22:36-40
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

If you love God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind, you will love your neighbor as yourself.  And if you don’t then you will not be saved from your sins!  So if you hate your brother or your neighbor then you will not be saved!

Romans 13:10
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

So if you have any ill intent toward your neighbor then you do not love God with all your heart, your mind, and soul.  So then you will not love your neighbor nor your brother as yourself!  And you will not be saved from your sins either!

Who is my neighbor?

Luke 10:30-37
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Your neighbor is every one!  And we are commanded to love every one!  Or the love of God is not in you!

Matthew 7:12-14
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

So how do you get rid of hatred and bitterness out of your heart so that you do love your neighbor and your brother?  Again, whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Luke 6:31-38
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

To overcome hatred and bitterness you must forgive those who have trespassed against you!  It is not an option if you want to be saved from your own sins!  “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”

Colossians 3:12-14
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Again, we see the bond of perfectness is love!  Love is the fulfilling of the law!  Whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected!

John 14:15
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Hebrews 12:6-17
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

If you do not chasten your children then you hate their souls!!!  “Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.” (Pro 19:18)  “He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.” (Pro 13:24) betimes – Early; quickly.  “Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.” (Pro 23:13-14)

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Spiritually speaking “If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons” “But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.”  Whereof all are partakers meaning before you came to God.  “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.” (Eph 2:3)

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Chastisement is necessary for the saving of your souls!!  For your children after the flesh and all of us who are the children of God all need chastisement that we might be partakers of his holiness!!

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Without this chastisement and your correct response to this chastisement from your Heavenly Father who loves you, then you are bastards and not the children of God!!

12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

The Word of God is like an Anointing Salve that Heals our Wounds!!  “Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.”

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (Jn 14:15) “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.  For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.” (1 Thess 4:3-8)

15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

“And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.”  (Mk 4:16-17)

16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Look diligently unless any man fail of the grace of God; unless any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled, but rather receive chastisement of the Father of spirits and live!!  Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven!!

Hebrews 4:12-16
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

1 John 5:1-4
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Come let us Grow Together: Let the Peace of God Rule in your Hearts

Come let us Grow Together is a weekly series that deals with the many topical categories that exist within the Word of God.  The purpose of this series is to grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in things pertaining to God.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. (Col 3:15)

Do you want the peace of God to rule in your heart?  Then you must let it take place.  You must let the peace of God rule in your heart.  It isn’t an automatic process.

So how do you let the peace of God rule in your heart and mind?

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7)

A precious promise of God!!  However, the key to allowing this peace of God to keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus was to 1) Be careful for nothing.  Which means do not allow yourself to be anxious for anything!!  2) But in every thing by prayer and supplication 3) With thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

At that point is when you say never the less Lord your will be done and not my will.  It is at this point that you 1) Choose to refuse to allow yourself to be anxious 2) That you place your faith in the Lord that whatever the Potter chooses to do will work together for your good 3) You then place your trust into the Potter’s hand 4) Wait with patience for what you have sought from the Potter 5) Accepting the will of the Potter with contentment.

This is a delicate balance of belief, faith, hope, trust, acceptance, patience, and contentment.  You must maintain each one of these in order to allow the peace of God to rule your heart and mind.

If any one of these gets out of balance due to the thoughts you are having you will lose the peace of God that you were experiencing.  This is because Belief and Hope maintain your Faith and Trust.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Heb 11:1)

If you allow yourself to begin to Worry, then the Hope you had in what you sought from God will begin to waver which will directly influence your Faith.  This negative influence on your Faith will then begin to destroy your Trust that you had in God, which will then begin to destroy your Belief in what you Hoped for in God.

If you Believe and Hope then with Patience you must Wait.  Seal up the BREACH in your mind and allow the peace of God to once again rule in your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. (Lk 12:29)

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; (1 Peter 1:13)

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Pro 3:5-6)

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. (Rom 8:24-25)

If you want Peace in the midst of your Storm, you must let Patience have her perfect work within you.  You must learn to Accept and be Content in knowing that ALL things will work together to the Good for them that are the Called according to God’s purpose.  There is a Season and a Time to Every purpose under the heaven.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. (Philip 4:11)

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1:2-4)

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Rom 8:28)

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Eccl 3:1)

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are True, whatsoever things are Honest, whatsoever things are Just, whatsoever things are Pure, whatsoever things are Lovely, whatsoever things are of Good Report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS. Those things, which ye have both LEARNED, and RECEIVED, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Philip 4:8-9)
