“It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.” (Heb 9:23-26)

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Cor 5:18-21)

“By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.” (Heb 7:22-28)

“To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:4-5) “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Rm 12:1-2)

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.” (Heb 10:16-18)

It is important to understand that when the Lord writes His laws into your hearts and into your minds, it comes by the receiving of the Holy Ghost and to enter into this covenant one must repent of their sins and be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of their sins. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39) “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” (Gal 4:6)

“For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” (Heb 13:11-17)

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7) “Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” (Heb 3:8-19)

“But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” (Acts 3:18-21) “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Lk 19:10)

“There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Lk 13:1-5) “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mk 16:16) “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” (Lk 24:45-49) “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” (Jn 7:38-39)

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?” (Acts 2:1-8) “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:36-39)

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” (Jn 3:16-21) Jesus Christ came to seek and to save that which was lost. “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Lk 19:10) Which would be the entire human race. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” (Rm 3:23-26) We were all born in sin because of the sin of Adam and Eve and therefore were/are in need of a savior of which is Jesus the Christ the Son of the living God. “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Rm 5:12) “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” (Rm 5:15-19) Jesus said, “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” (Jn 8:24) Who is Jesus the Christ? “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” (1 Jn 5:20) There is no other name under heaven whereby men can be saved but by Jesus Christ. “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:10-12) Jesus Christ said we all must be born again to see or enter into the kingdom of God. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (Jn 3:3-5) To be born again of water and of the Spirit as Jesus instructed Nicodemus that we all must do you must partake of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Cor 15:1-4) We are told in scripture exactly how we are to partake of this wonderful plan of Salvation given to us by God. “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:36-39) This promise is to “even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” You may wonder if you are called? “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev 22:16-17)

Granville Sharp Rule

Paul’s Christian form of greeting is “Grace and peace.” The standard Greek salutation was chairein (greetings), but Paul used charis (grace). The standard Hebrew salutation was shalom (peace), and Paul used the Greek equivalent here, thus combining into a Christian phrase both the Greek and Hebrew forms of greeting. Grace (unmerited favor) is the cause, and peace (harmony with God and the resulting tranquility of soul) is the effect. Both come from God our Father through the Lord Jesus Christ, that is, because of the death, burial, and resurrection—the mediatorial work—of the man Christ Jesus (I Timothy 2:5).

The greeting phrase here is typical of Paul’s epistles. It is not a reference to trinitarianism; if it were, one question that needs an answer is, Why does it omit the Holy Spirit? Rather, the greeting emphasizes the necessity of not only acknowledging God as Creator and Father
(which the Jews and many pagans did) but also acknowledging God’s revelation in Christ. It emphasizes that God’s provision of salvation comes only through Christ.

The definite article (“the”) does not appear in Greek before “Lord Jesus Christ.” So verse 7 literally says, “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.” The Greek conjunction here is kai, which can mean “even” as well as “and,” depending on the context; so the phrase could actually mean “from God our Father, even the Lord Jesus Christ.”

When we compare Romans 1:7 with similar phrases elsewhere in Paul’s epistles, we find a strong indication that Paul meant to identify God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ as the same being. For example, II Thessalonians 1:12, I Timothy 5:21, II Timothy 4:1, and Titus 2:13 all identify God and Jesus Christ as one and the same being. This is especially clear because Granville Sharp’s rule applies to the Greek text of these verses: If two nouns of the same number, gender, and case are connected by kai and if the first noun has the definite article but the second does not, then both nouns refer to the same thing. (Pgs 36-37 Message to the Romans by Doctor David K. Bernard)

Goole AI: Granville Sharp Rule

The Granville Sharp Rule is a principle of Greek grammar used to determine whether two nouns in a sentence refer to the same person or to two different people. It was formulated in 1798 by Granville Sharp, a British abolitionist and scholar, who used it to argue for the deity of Jesus Christ in the New Testament.

The Core Rule

The rule states that when two singular, personal nouns (titles or descriptions, but not proper names) are joined by the word “and” (kai) and only the first noun has the definite article (“the”), both nouns refer to the same individual.

The Formula:

Article (ho) + Noun 1 + And (kai) + Noun 2 = Same Person.

Essential Requirements

To be a valid application of Sharp’s rule, the following conditions must be met:
Singular: Both nouns must be in the singular number.
Personal: They must describe persons (e.g., “Savior,” “God”) rather than impersonal things.
Non-Proper: They cannot be proper names like “Paul” or “Timothy”.
Single Article: The definite article appears only before the first noun, not the second.

Famous Biblical Examples

The rule is most significant in verses where Jesus is identified as both God and Savior:
Titus 2:13: “…the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ”.
2 Peter 1:1: “…the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ”.

In these instances, because only “God” has the article, the rule dictates that “God” and “Savior” are one and the same person—Jesus.

Theological Significance

Trinitarian Support: Many scholars use the rule as a grammatical proof of Christ’s divinity.
Critiques: Some Unitarian and other scholars argue the rule is a later “discovery” rather than an intentional law of the original Greek authors, suggesting it may not be absolute in every context.

WaRNinG!!! There are many claiming to be obeying what Jesus commanded them to do while disobeying what Jesus’ Apostles instructed each one of us to do. This is directly disobeying what Jesus commands us to do while claiming obedience to Jesus Christ.

WaTcH CloSeLy!!!

Matthew 28:18-19
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Acts 2:1-4
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The APosTLe PeTer full of the Holy Ghost speaks…

Acts 2:36-39
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

STiLL WaTCHinG???

The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Jesus Christ of which the Apostle Peter was speaking by when he gave to us the plan of Salvation in Acts 2:38 above.

Galatians 4:6
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

So if you are claiming to be obeying what Jesus said to do then you will follow what his Apostles taught us to do. Otherwise why read any of the epistles since you are only going to obey what Jesus said to do?

2 Peter 1:21
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Ephesains 2:19-20
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

ArE YoU ReaLLy FollOWinG what JESUS said to do when you blatantly disregard the teaching of the Apostle Peter who spoke by the Holy Ghost which according to Galatians 4:6 is “the Spirit of his Son into your hearts”?

To ObEY JESUS is to OBey the Apostle Peter who had the correct understanding of the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost seeing how Peter was speaking by the Spirit of God’s Son who is Jesus Christ!!!

WaKe UP@@@@@ The night is far spent, the day is at hand. (Romans 13:12)

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

ThE FulFillMenT of:

Matthew 28:19
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

2 Timothy 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Prescription drug abuse is very common in our world today. Whether to stimulate you or to depress you, whether for the sheer high of it or whether it be because of an emotional instability within your mind, whether for weight loss or for accomplishing more work. Whatever the reason your answer is Jesus Christ and him crucified! We are in a spiritual warfare whether you believe it or not. There are forces on this Earth out to destroy you. They are the devil and his fallen angels better known as demons.

Hear what I’m saying to you. There are demons influencing your life. You are a servant to sin and you need Jesus Christ to set you free from not only your sins but also of your prescription drug abuse or otherwise. “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” (Psa 51:5) “Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.” (Pro 20:11) Your choices that you are making are allowing the devil and demons to torment your mind. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (James 1:14-15)

Satan would like nothing more than for you to die! Once you are dead there is no second chances! “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Heb 9:27) You need the knowledge of the Bible to stand against the tricks of satan and his fallen angels. You also need to be born again according to the Bible so that your sins inherited from birth can be remitted. Hear me. This is the plan of salvation for all mankind.

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And who are they that are called? “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev 22:17) Are you athirst? Come and drink the water of life freely. You need the Holy Spirit evidenced with speaking with other tongues or languages dwelling inside of you to stand against the demonic oppressions, depressions, and anxieties that are taking place in your life. You are not alone. God is on your side! Come to him forgiving everyone else their sins and trespasses against you and with a repentive heart asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and trespasses so that you can begin your journey of gaining power over the devil through the Holy Spirit and through the Bible knowledge you need to be able to stand against the attacks of the devil.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Cor 10:3-5) “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 Jn 4:4) “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Phil 4:13)

It is not our strength for we are no match for the devil and his fallen angels without Jesus Christ and him crucified. You do not have to be a slave to prescription drugs any longer!! Nor do you have to be a slave to sin any longer!! You can come and partake of the promises of God!! You need the Holy Spirit evidenced with speaking with other tongues or languages dwelling inside of you to stand against the demonic oppressions, depressions, and anxieties that are taking place in your life.

If you are demon possessed God is well able to cast them out of you!! These demons CAN NOT STOP YOU FROM COMING TO JESUS CHRIST!! “And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.” (Mk 5:1-13)

EVEN A LEGION OF DEVILS CAN NOT STOP YOU FROM WORSHIPING JESUS CHRIST!! NOR CAN A LEGION OF DEVILS STOP JESUS CHRIST FROM CASTING THEM OUT OF YOU!! AND WE THE LORD’S SERVANTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN POWER THROUGH THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST TO CAST OUT DEVILS AND DEMONS!!

Come to Jesus Christ!! Come with a repentive heart!! Come knowing that you may make mistakes again and sin but knowing that we are freed of condemnation!! So you do not have to judge yourself, nor condemn yourself, nor tell yourself over and over you shouldn’t have done something causing much grief, sorrow, and guilt because Jesus Christ died for you so that you can live unto him!!

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Rm 8:1-2) “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 Jn 2:1-2) “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Heb 4:14-16)

“And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mk 12:28-31) “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” (Mt 7:12) “Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” (Rm 13:10)

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Mt 5:44-48)

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” (Gal 6:2) “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil 2:5-11) “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” (Jn 15:12-14) “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” (1 Jn 5:3)

“What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” (Lk 15:4-7)
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mt 28:18-20)

“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Lk 24:45-47) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39)

Acts 3:1-8
3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

The lame man at the Gate Beautiful, In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk!

Acts 4:1-12
4:1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

A. The Apostles were arrested because of the Name!
B. By what Power or by what Name!
C. By the Name of Jesus!

In verse 12, Neither is there salvation in any other Name ( The Name of Jesus).

“Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his Name Emmanuel-which being interpreted is God with us! And she brought forth her firstborn son; and called His name “Jesus”.

Matthew 1:21-25
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Colossians 3:17
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Here we are told explicitly that we are to do everything in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Water baptism in Jesus name is a deed!

Philippians 2: 1-11
2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Verse 9 states, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”

“Jesus said, I come in my father Name!
God, gave Jesus; God’s own Name!
Jesus-meaning- Jehovah Saviour!

John 5:43
43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Many people believe that when you believe on Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, and accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior that you are saved. But if this be the case then why is there scriptures that appear to contradict this teaching?

And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (Acts 22:16)

If remission of sins came by repentance alone then why did Ananias tell Paul to be baptized calling on the name of the Lord to wash away his sins?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)

If remission of sins came by repentance alone then why did the Apostle Peter tell us to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins?

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Col 2:11-14)

If remission of sins came by repentance alone then why did the Apostle Paul tell us that the circumcision of Christ took place when you are buried with him in baptism wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (Jn 3:5-7)

If remission of sins came by repentance alone then why did Jesus tell us we must be born again of water and of the Spirit?

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. (1 Jn 5:8)

They agree in being born again. Blood, water, and Spirit. Death (repentance), burial (water baptism in Jesus name), and resurrection (being filled with the Holy Ghost.)

If remission of sins came by repentance alone then why did Apostle John tell us that the blood, water, and Spirit agree in one?

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mk 16:16)

If remission of sins came by repentance alone then why did Jesus tell us He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved?

ANSWER: Your sins are not remitted when you repent of your sins. They are remitted when you repent and are baptized in Jesus name as says the scriptures. This is why Jesus said he that believes and is baptized shall be saved.

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Daily Devotional – Salvation is the free gift of God

Salvation is the free gift of God. But after you receive this gift, you MUST DENY YOURSELF or you have once again become alive unto sin and the penalty of SIN is DEATH. And you will be the one crying Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There are many false doctrines that abound concerning sin. However, if you sin the penalty is death! Even under grace. If you sin the law of sin and death still remains and you will die in your sins unless you repent of them. “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.” (Rm 6:16-18) “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Gal 5:19-25)

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” (Gal 1:6-9) IT IS UP TO YOU TO FIND OUT IF YOU ARE BEING TAUGHT THE TRUTH!!

“Let us therefore FEAR, lest, a PROMISE being left us of ENTERING into his REST, any of YOU should seem to come SHORT of it. For unto US was the GOSPEL preached, as well as UNTO them: but the WORD preached did not PROFIT them, NOT being MIXED with FAITH in them that HEARD it. For WE which have BELIEVED do ENTER into REST, as he said, As I have SWORN in my WRATH, if they shall ENTER into MY REST: although the WORKS were FINISHED from the FOUNDATION of the WORLD.” (Heb 4:1-3)

“For he spake in a certain place of the SEVENTH DAY on this WISE, And God did REST the SEVENTH DAY from all his WORKS.” (Heb 4:4) “Seeing therefore it REMAINETH that SOME must ENTER therein, and they to whom it was first preached ENTERED NOT in because of UNBELIEF:” (Heb 4:6) “For if Jesus had given them REST, then would he not afterward have spoken of ANOTHER DAY.” (Heb 4:8) Have you entered into the REST of the Lord Jesus? “For with STAMMERING LIPS and another TONGUE will he SPEAK to this people. To whom he said, THIS IS THE REST wherewith ye may cause the WEARY to REST; and THIS IS THE REFRESHING: yet they would not hear.” (Isa 28:11-12)

“And he said unto them, The SABBATH was made for MAN, and NOT man for the SABBATH: Therefore the SON of man is LORD also of the SABBATH.” (Mk 2:27-28) “For with STAMMERING LIPS and another TONGUE will he SPEAK to this people. To whom he said, This is the REST wherewith ye may cause the WEARY to REST; and this is the REFRESHING: yet they would NOT HEAR.” (Isa 28:11-12)

“But the TONGUE can NO man tame; it is an UNRULY evil, full of DEADLY POISON.” (Jms 3:8) But upon the RECEIVING of the Holy Ghost, GOD will TAME the untamable TONGUE and FILL you with His Spirit EVIDENCED with the SPEAKING of another TONGUE as the SPIRIT gives the UTTERANCE. (Acts 2:1-4) (1 Cor 14:21)

“For he that is entered into his REST, he also hath CEASED from his OWN WORKS, as God DID from HIS. Let us LABOUR therefore to ENTER into THAT REfST, lest any man FALL after the SAME example of UNBELIEF.” (Heb 4:10-11) “In the law it is written, With men of other TONGUES and other LIPS will I SPEAK unto this PEOPLE; and YET for ALL that will they NOT HEAR ME, saith the Lord.” (1 Cor 14:21) You MUST FIRST have the Holy Spirit BEFORE YOU will EVER have ANY GIFTS of the Spirit.

The first man Adam was of the earth, earthy. The second Adam was the Lord from heaven, Jesus Christ, who came to restore what the first Adam lost… sonship. Our earthly Adam (us) must die and be born again of the second Adam through repentance, baptism in Jesus name, and receiving the Spirit of Christ. This spiritual death and rebirth once again allows us to become the sons of God. Hallelujah!!!!
