“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” (Mk 9:23) “And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” (Mt 17:18-21) “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (Eph 3:20-21)

“The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:” (2 Peter 2:9) “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Phil 4:11-13) “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 Jn 4:4)

“For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” (1 Peter 3:17-18) “But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly. Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick. For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation: Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.” (Phil 2:24-30) “Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.” (2 Tim 4:20) “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” (2 Cor 12:8-10) “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rm 8:35-39)

“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.” (Gal 6:17-18)

Acts 3:1-8
3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

The lame man at the Gate Beautiful, In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk!

Acts 4:1-12
4:1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

A. The Apostles were arrested because of the Name!
B. By what Power or by what Name!
C. By the Name of Jesus!

In verse 12, Neither is there salvation in any other Name ( The Name of Jesus).

“Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his Name Emmanuel-which being interpreted is God with us! And she brought forth her firstborn son; and called His name “Jesus”.

Matthew 1:21-25
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Colossians 3:17
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Here we are told explicitly that we are to do everything in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Water baptism in Jesus name is a deed!

Philippians 2: 1-11
2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Verse 9 states, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”

“Jesus said, I come in my father Name!
God, gave Jesus; God’s own Name!
Jesus-meaning- Jehovah Saviour!

John 5:43
43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Revelation 3:15-16
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Deuteronomy 4:24
24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Hebrews 10:30-31
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Luke 12:45-48
45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

2 Timothy 2:4-7
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

You must strive lawfully to enter into the strait and narrow way of eternal life that is only found in faithful obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s Time for a Holy Ghost Flashover in your Heart to Consume ALL the Trash within it!!

1 Corinthians 9:19-23
19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

Hebrews 10:38-39
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

2 Cor 6:17-18, 7:1
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Hebrews 12:14-29
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

There’s going to be some shaking going on!! That’s a promise!! Give ear! For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven!! It’s Time for a Holy Ghost Flashover in your Heart to Consume ALL the Trash within it!!

Revelation 6:12-17
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

2 Peter 3:7-18
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-12
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
He prays that they may be found worthy of Christ’s name
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? It’s Time for a Holy Ghost Flashover in your Heart to Consume ALL the Trash within it!!

Jude 1:14-25
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

The Principles of the Doctrine of Christ

Hebrews 6:1-2
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

First understand that this did not say reject and ignore “the principles of the doctrine of Christ” because it said “let us go on unto perfection” because “the principles of the doctrine of Christ” are the foundation and the milk of which you must have as a babe that first comes to Christ even as every person must first be a babe in need of the milk before that babe can grow. “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (1 Peter 2:2) This growing is the “let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation” of “the principles of the doctrine of Christ” that is being spoken of here as the writer goes on to explain what these “principles of the doctrine of Christ” are that you must first have understanding of so that you can then “go on unto perfection”.

The foundation.

Ephesians 2:20-22
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

This foundation requires you to first partake of “repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God” so that you can then partake “Of the doctrine of baptisms” of which allows you to then be born again and now part of “the building fitly framed together” that “groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Which can not take place until you have been born again the correct way which is “the principles of the doctrine of Christ”.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

That is the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, for you to have received of this gospel of Jesus Christ “wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain” only applies to you if you have partook of the Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection which is the gospel teaching of Jesus Christ and the “laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.”

This is how you partake of the gospel of Jesus Christ which is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

When you “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” you have now become born again and have also partook of “the principles of the doctrine of Christ”. The “principles of the doctrine of Christ” was “the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” This is seen and partook of in being born again according to the only way one can become born again which is to “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” You have now repented from dead works while having faith toward God that he will remit your sins and fill you with the Holy Ghost. This is “the doctrine of baptisms” that is being spoken of as you have been baptized both by water baptism into the death of Jesus Christ and have now received the Holy Ghost which is the baptism of the Spirit of life in Jesus Christ spoken of throughout the gospel teaching of Jesus Christ.

Luke 3:16
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

The “principles of the doctrine of Christ” “of laying on of hands” is where the Holy Ghost is given, gifts of the Spirit are given, and the sick are anointed with oil in the name of the Lord.

Acts 8:18-19
18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

1 Timothy 4:14
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

James 5:14-15
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

The “principles of the doctrine of Christ” of the “resurrection of the dead” which is speaking of the catching away of the saints, can only happen if you have the Spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit within you of which you also need to be planted together in the likeness of his death so we will be also in the likeness of his resurrection being risen from the dead which is speaking of the gospel of Jesus Christ where after repenting you are baptized into Jesus Christ where you are baptized into his death and then receive the Holy Spirit so that you are in the likeness of his resurrection.

Romans 6:1-7
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Romans 8:9-11
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Once you have been planted together in the likeness of his death so that you will be also in the likeness of his resurrection from the dead you can then be caught away with the saints when the Lord Jesus comes to receive his bride of which is the body of Christ the Church.

Acts 17:32-33
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
33 So Paul departed from among them.

Acts 24:21-22
21 Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
22 And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:39-44
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-18
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Concerning the “principles of the doctrine of Christ” “and of eternal judgment” which is the second death known as great white throne judgment where those who were not part of the “resurrection of the dead” will be judged by God and cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 2:11
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 20:6
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Hebrews 5:12-14
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Reaping and Harvesting

Matthew 24:37-39
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luke 17:25-30
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

In our last lesson entitled, “Statements Jesus made in the Gospels Concerning the End of Days and the Rapture of the Church” we learned from the parable of the tares found in Matthew chapter 13 that Jesus said the interpretation of the parable was 1) He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man 2) The field is the world 3) But the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil 4) The harvest is the end of the world 5) The reapers are the angels. We also learned from John 6:40 “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” And finally We also learned that the Day of the Lord followed the tribulation of those days as seen in Matthew 24:29-31 and Acts 2:19-21 of which conclusively reveals to us that the Day of the Lord begins after the tribulation of those days! Pay special attention to the following passages of scriptures which all speak of these signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars!

Matthew 24:29-31
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:24-27
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Revelation 6:12-14
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

In each one of these accounts given to us by Jesus we see the signs we are looking for are “in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” “And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.” “and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” The sea and the waves roaring because “the powers of heaven shall be shaken”

Remember all of these passages of scripture are referring to the Day of the Lord of which we established was “Immediately after the tribulation of those days”.

2 Peter 3:9-12

Isaiah 34:2-4
2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Hebrews 1:10-12
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Do you see that this is all the same time? Look at it again in a slightly different way.

Matthew 24:29
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mark 13:24-25
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Luke 21:25
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

2 Peter 3:12
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Revelation 6:15
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Revelation 11:18-19
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-12
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54
51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Have you ever stopped here at verse 54 and asked yourself where is it written that “Death is swallowed up in victory”? What the Apostle Paul has just revealed to us here is that when the catching away of the Saints takes place, what we term the rapture, that the saying that was written concerning death being swallowed up in victory will have taken place.

Isaiah 25:6-9
6 And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

So what else did we discover when the saying “Death is swallowed up in victory” takes place?

1) The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; 2) and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. 3) And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

That’s some BIG clues given to us here. Remember what we learned from the parable of the tares found in Matthew chapter 13 that Jesus said the interpretation of the parable was 1) He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man 2) The field is the world 3) But the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil 4) The harvest is the end of the world 5) The reapers are the angels.

Now remember what the Apostle Paul has said concerning the rapture of the Church “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Does this not agree with what Jesus revealed to us? It does. “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

What about “the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth”?

Revelation 21:1-5
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Another clue is given in this passage of scripture where we learn that a great voice out of heaven says, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Here we see another possible clue where we see God wiping away all tears from their eyes. We also learn that there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away. However, to begin to grasp the full impact of this connection being made is to realize the new heaven and the new earth and the new Jerusalem takes place in the beginning of the millennial reign of Christ and not after, which is not really hard to show.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Ezekiel 37:22-23, 27
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

This king over them being Jesus Christ.

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

Here we see another clue, God will save them out of all their dwellingplaces and says, so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. This fulfilling another one of our three clues above concerning the passage of scriptures in Isaiah where he said “And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Here we see the same wording as we saw above in Revelation where the Lord said, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” Where He followed it up with the next verse saying, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Yet the Apostle Paul linked the rapture of the Church with these events!

“And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” (Isaiah 25:6-9)

Joel 3:9-16
9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Again we see the same signs taking place in the sun, the moon, and the stars while we are also seeing the harvesting take place. Remember what Jesus said? 1) He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man 2) The field is the world 3) But the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil 4) The harvest is the end of the world 5) The reapers are the angels.

And what do we see taking place here in Joel? “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” We also see here the shaking of the heavens and the earth just as was written in the other passages of scriptures we reviewed concerning the Day of the Lord.

Revelation 14:14-20
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Just as was said in Joel “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.” And we see here the outcome “And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.” That is the equivalent of blood rising to the horse bridles about 4.5 feet deep and flowing for 180 miles!! This is not symbolic!! This is the day of the Lord in the battle of Armageddon!!

Revelation 10:7
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:15-19
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Matthew 27:1-11
1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
2 And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.
8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
10 And gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord appointed me.
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

Love is coming into a world damned to eternal judgment in a devil’s hell and being set free from that penalty of death by a substitution. The lamb of God, the Son of God, without sin God imputing the sins of the world on him that we might live through him by the shedding of his precious blood. Love wins!!!!!

Matthew 27:12-25
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

There is no greater love than God taking upon him the seed of Abraham, in the likeness of men, to condemn sin in the flesh upon his cross. Calling all sinners of which all mankind had been born into to be born again by a spiritual rebirth that would set you free from the penalty of death by becoming sin by the imputation of God that he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. Love wins!!!!!

Matthew 27:26-54
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

“I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” (Is 50:6-7) “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” (Heb 12:2-3) Love wins!!!!!

43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” (Lk 23:34-38) Love wins!!!!!

44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Isaiah 53:4-12
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 1:10-13
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jesus, God manifested in the flesh, became the sacrificial lamb of God to take away the sin of the world and through his death, burial, and resurrection gave us the opportunity to be set free from the law of sin and death by a spiritual rebirth. Love wins!!!!!

The Six day Creation of God

Exodus 20:11
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

This scripture verifies that all that the Lord made, the heavens, the Earth, the sea and all things that were within the heavens, the Earth, and the sea were made in six literal days and the Lord rested on the seventh day! This would include dinosaurs! Everything was created in six literal days. Not periods of time. The gap theory is a lie as is any teaching that speaks of the six day creation of God as periods of time. The phrase “and all that in them is” is an all inclusive statement taking in everything that was created!! There is no way around this!! But there remains the scoffers, the ever learning and never able to come to the acknowledging of the truth, and those that are just full of rebellion against God, and sadly enough some good preachers and teachers of God who have some how lost sight and their faith have become entangled in sciences falsely so called and have tried to find a way to teach both the truth of God’s Word while also trying to manipulate God’s Word to fit their new found knowledge of how this world can exceed 6,000 years of which directly contradicts the teaching of God’s Word.

The So Called: Pre-Adamic world, The Luciferian Flood, and the Gap theory

The gap theory postulates that an indefinite span of time exists between Genesis 1:1 which reads, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” and Genesis 1:2 which reads, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

This time span is usually considered to be quite large (millions of years) and is also regarded to encompass the so-called “geologic ages.” Many proponents of the gap theory also postulate that a cataclysmic judgment was pronounced upon the Earth during this period as the result of the fall of lucifer (satan) and that the ensuing verses of Genesis chapter 1 describe a re-creation or reforming of the Earth from a chaotic state and not an initial creative effort on the part of God.

The reason for such an invention as this is to try to account for what man can not understand. Thus man in his own wisdom tries to give an account of what he can not accept by faith. That being that “in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day”. This being literally 24 hour days.

To believe that God created everything in six literal days is to accept that man and dinosaur walked the Earth together at the same time, that the geologic column is a false teaching, as well as the teaching of evolution.

The geological column is the theoretical classification system for the layers of rocks and fossils that make up the Earth’s crust such as the Mesozoic era. The geological age being within the geological era of time such as the Jurassic age.

The notion that the earth’s crust has on “onion skin” structure with successive layers containing all strata systems distributed on a global scale is not according to the facts. Data from continents and ocean basins show that the ten systems are poorly represented on a global scale: approximately 77% of the earth’s surface area on land and under the sea has seven or more (70% or more) of the strata systems missing beneath; 94% of the earth’s surface has three or more systems missing beneath; and an estimated 99.6% has at least one missing system.2 Only a few locations on earth (about 0.4% of its area) have been described with the succession of the ten systems beneath (west Nepal, west Bolivia, and central Poland). Even where the ten systems may be present, geologists recognize individual systems to be incomplete. The entire geologic column, composed of complete strata systems, exists only in the diagrams drawn by geologists! Source: http://www.icr.org/article/ten-misconceptions-about-geologic-column/

The teaching of evolution and the teaching of the geological column and the geological ages are science falsely so called. Those who have erred concerning the faith to follow after these false teachings of science have compromised the truth of the Word of God by trying to insert an indefinite period of time between Genesis verse 1 and verse 2 as well as proclaiming that Genesis chapter 1 is actually describing a re-creation or reforming of the Earth from a chaotic state.

1 Corinthians 3:19-20
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

1 Timothy 6:20-21
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

2 Peter 3:5-7
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

This very passage of scripture from 2 Peter chapter 3 that states that these people are willingly ignorant of the flood of Noah’s time is actually used to support the teaching of the gap theory. However, they claim this flood is not referring to the flood of Noah, but rather to the luciferian flood. Even though scripture clearly states it was the flood of Noah’s time in the previous chapter. “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;” (2 Peter 2:5) So let me quickly make clear that there is no such thing as a luciferian flood. This is part of the gap theory teaching because they can not accept the clear teaching of scripture that “in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day”.

Let’s take a closer look at:

Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

These two verses of scripture give us a general introduction of the creation of the heaven and the Earth. We then read the account of what took place on each of the six days of creation from Genesis 1:3 – Genesis 2:3.

The idea of a pre-Adamic race is a false teaching that supposes that God created a race of humans who lived before God created Adam and Eve. There are several variations of this teaching but the reason for this teaching is the same as the reasons for the gap theory and that of the luciferian flood. That is they have chosen to doubt God’s Word and to look at our Earth and that of science to find that this Earth must be more than 6,000 years old. It is a love of worldly knowledge and worldly sciences falsely so called, who are continuously changing what they consider the facts to be to try to find a way to fit this so called scientific information into the Word of God.

There are several variations of the pre-Adamic world that exist. We will look at two. There are those that believe that God created people in Genesis chapter 1 and then Adam and Eve in Genesis chapter 2. This theory is trying to do away with the account of how the world’s population came from only one man and one woman, while also trying to do away with the fact that there were close family marriage relationships between brothers and sisters, uncles and nieces, aunts and nephews, cousins, and such that had taken place.

So this form of a pre-Adamic world places an entire human race outside of the Garden of Eden before the fall of Adam and Eve. The biblical claim for this doctrine is to separate the creating of mankind in Genesis chapter 1 with the creation of Adam and Eve in chapter 2. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” (Genesis 1:26-31) “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” (Genesis 2:1-3) “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.” (Genesis 2:7-8 )

This is a failure to understand that Genesis chapter 1 is the explaining of the entire creation account of the heavens, the Earth, the sea; and all that in them is. This including the creation of man and woman on the sixth day. Genesis Chapter 2 takes a closer look at the creation of the man and the woman that took place on the sixth day of creation.

The word replenish also becomes a snare to many people because they immediately believe that it means to fill again.

The Hebrew word in use for replenish:

or mala’, maw-law’; (Esth. 7:5), a primitive root, to fill or (intransitive) be full of, in a wide application (literal and figurative) :- accomplish, confirm, + consecrate, be at an end, be expired, be fenced, fill, fulfil, (be, become, × draw, give in, go) full (-ly, -ly set, tale), [over-] flow, fulness, furnish, gather (selves, together), presume, replenish, satisfy, set, space, take a [hand-] full, + have wholly.—Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary

The Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words also agrees.

To Fill
A. Verb
male (4390) “to fill, fulfill, overflow, ordain, endow.” This verb occurs in all Semitic languages (including biblical Aramaic) and in all periods. Biblical Hebrew attests it about 250 times.
Basically, male means “to be full” in the sense of having something done to one. In 2 Kings 4:6, the word implies “to fill up”: “And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said….” The verb is sometimes used figuratively as in Gen. 6:13, when God noted that “the earth is filled with violence.” – The Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words

The first appearance of this word is found in the same chapter of Genesis just six verses prior.

With Strong’s Concordance reference numbers inserted:

Genesis 1:22
22 And God blessed them, saying , Be fruitful , and multiply , and fill the waters in the seas , and let fowl multiply in the earth .

Genesis 1:28
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful , and multiply , and replenish the earth , and subdue it : and have dominion over the fish of the sea , and over the fowl of the air , and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth .

Notice that the same Hebrew words are used in both verses in the same order!

“the earth was without form, and void” (Genesis 1:2) and needed to be filled! Filled, not refilled from a chaotic state, but filled with the six day creation of God!

This particular teaching of a pre-Adamic world uses the separation of the creating of mankind in Genesis chapter 1 with the creation of Adam and Eve in chapter 2 as an explanation of how the earth was populated and how it was that Cain could have knew his wife at Nod. However, this also goes against the scriptures. “And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.” (Genesis 4:16-17)

There are several points of consideration here. Such as how long was Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden? Genesis 5:5 tells us, “And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.” We also know that God began keeping track of time in the creation account when he used the phrase “And the evening and the morning were the first day” etc. We were also told that Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born. “And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:” (Genesis 5:3) This lets us know without any uncertainty that Adam and Eve could not have been in the Garden of Eden for any longer than 130 years. Since Adam was 130 years old when he had Seth, and Cain and Able were born before this time, it only stands to reason that Adam and Eve must also have had daughters. We are not given the ages of Cain and Able but only told “Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground”, (Genesis 4:2) that both had enough understanding to make “an offering unto the LORD”, (Genesis 4:3) and that Cain was old enough to murder his brother with malice. (Genesis 4:6-10)

So when we read “And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. (Genesis 4:16-17) We must first take notice that it only says here that Cain went to the land of Nod and knew his wife. It doesn’t say that Cain found his wife there, just that he knew her there. So there is no evidence that Cain found this woman in Nod but rather most likely took her with him to the land of Nod. Who was this woman he took to the land of Nod? One of his sisters, aunts, niece, or cousin.

Since we know that Adam was 130 years old when he had Seth, and Cain and Able were born prior to this, I believe this is the only Biblical conclusion we can draw, because any other conclusion gets into people who God also would have created that were not of Eve of which was the mother of all living. “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” (Genesis 3:20) Since Eve is the mother of all living then to say there were other people created not of Adam and Eve would not only break scripture but would get into believing that there were other people that didn’t have a soul that the offspring of Adam and Eve mated with and this clearly breaks the scriptures. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7)

Another teaching of the pre-Adamic people are those that are found within the Gap theory and this generally takes into account the luciferian flood that destroyed this world via the judgment of God, of which God then recreates the world starting at Genesis 1:3. In this pre-Adamic world is where the dinosaurs would fit in and the result of the luciferien flood would give an account of the geologic column. Gap theorists place a gap of an unspecified time in between Genesis verse 1 and verse 2. “ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:1-2)

Remember, the gap theory teaches that we have an old earth that is possibly millions of millions of years old. One of the major reasons they believe this teaching is because of the so called geologic column, of which they claim is a direct result of the so called luciferian flood that left the world without form and void. Even though they teach from Genesis 1:2 that the Earth was without form and void this doesn’t stop them from keeping the geologic column which houses the fossil records intact. Hmm. Without form and void… yet with the fossil record intact.

This despite believing that God is re-creating everything! This despite the flood of Noah’s day! “In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.” (Genesis 7:11-12) “And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.” (Genesis 8:1-3) This despite approximately 77% of the earth’s surface area on land and under the sea has seven or more (70% or more) of the strata systems missing beneath; 94% of the earth’s surface has three or more systems missing beneath; and an estimated 99.6% has at least one missing system!

During this process of the flood of Noah’s time the Earth would have underwent intense changes from the fountains of the deep being opened, the storm that took place, and the continual abating of the waters off of the face of the Earth.

These people are lovers of false sciences and that of man’s wisdom!!!
These sciences falsely so called are a way for mankind in their folly to try to account for the things that they can not accept by faith of God’s word. They are willingly ignorant of Noah’s flood because it contradicts what they already believe to be true, which is the teaching of evolution and in some cases the gap theory. Therefore those who still hold to the Bible, yet believing the false science of evolution, try to find a way to include an indefinite period of time so that they can account for the amount of time needed for the teaching of evolution to take place. So they have created the gap theory as a means to try to account for this indefinite period of time as well as using this indefinite period of time to account for another false science known as the geologic column which contains the fossil records. Many proponents of the gap theory pose that this geologic column was produced by the luciferian flood that destroyed the Earth leaving it without form and void.

To try to blend these false sciences with scripture, they speak of a gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. They claim that verse two of Genesis chapter 1 is the destruction of the original creation that God created perfectly and that it was destroyed by water. The reason they have chosen water as the means for this destruction of what they claim to be the original creation is because they must give an account of “the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” and this they do by claiming that Noah’s flood did not destroy the world that then was because Noah and his family lived. So they have created another false teaching of claiming that when lucifer fell God destroyed that world with a flood and this calamity is responsible for the geologic column and the fossil record.

Again, they are willingly ignorant that the flood of Noah’s day is responsible for the fossil record that we have today. But to believe this is to believe that dinosaurs walked the Earth together with mankind and that is to deny the teaching of evolution and the so-called geologic column. By removing the false teaching of evolution one is left with only the Biblical account of creation. For those that hate and deny God this is not an option. And for those who claim to believe the teaching of evolution as well as the Bible deny the teaching of the Bible to keep their belief in the teaching of evolution.

What the Bible teaches versus what evolution teaches.

Everything multiplies after its own kind!

1 Corinthians 15:38-40
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

Genesis 1:11-12
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:21, 24-25
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Light was created before the sun!

Genesis 1:3-5
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Genesis 1:14-18
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Oceans were created before land!

Genesis 1:2
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 1:9-10
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

Fruit trees were created before fish!

Genesis 1:11-12
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good

Genesis1:20-21
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Plant life was created before the sun!

Genesis 1:11-13
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Genesis 1:14-19
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

The sun & stars were created after the earth!

Genesis 1:14-15
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Birds & fish were created on the same day!

Genesis 1:20-21
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Birds were created before reptiles!

Genesis 1:20-23
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Genesis 1:24-25, 31
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Man was made from the dust of the earth!

Genesis 2:7
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Death was the result of man’s sin!

Romans 5:12
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

According to the Word of God, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” (Psalms 14:1) The reason for their folly? “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” (Romans 1:18-23)

So then, what took place between Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 and verse 2? Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 and 2 just describes to us the first part of the creation process that was not finished yet. The rest of the chapter tells us how God filled the Earth with life and that which was needful to sustain life.

What about dinosaurs in the Bible? If we believe in a literal six day creation then mankind and dinosaur walked the Earth together. So if man and dinosaur walked the Earth together does the Bible speak of dinosaurs?

Exodus 20:11
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Genesis 1:21 (KJV)
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:21 (NKJV)
21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Hebrew word in use:

Tanniyn – intensive from the same as (tan); a marine or land monster, i.e. sea-serpent or jackal :- dragon, sea-monster, serpent, whale.—Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary

Smith’s Bible Dictionary:

Whale – As to the signification of the Hebrew terms tan and tannin, variously rendered in the Authorized Version by “dragon,” “whale,” “serpent,” “sea-monster” see DRAGON.—Smith’s Bible Dictionary

Dragon – The translators of the Authorized Version, apparently following the Vulgate, have rendered by the same word “dragon” the two Hebrew words tan and tannin, which appear to be quite distinct in meaning.

  1. The former is used, always in the plural, in Job 30:29; Psal 44:19; Isai 34:13; 43:20; Jere 9:11 It is always applied to some creatures inhabiting the desert, and we should conclude from this that it refers rather to some wild beast than to a serpent. The syriac renders it by a word which, according to Pococke, means a “jackal.”
  2. The word tannin seems to refer to any great monster, whether of the land or the sea, being indeed more usually applied to some kind of serpent or reptile, but not exclusively restricted to that sense. Exod 7:9, 10, 12; Deut 32:33; Psal 91:13 In the New Testament it is found only in the Apocalypse, Reve 12:3, 4, 7, 9, 16, 17 etc., as applied metaphorically to “the old serpent, called the devil, and Satan.” —Smith’s Bible Dictionary

Our focus is on the word tannin but I have included both definitions so that you will understand why the strong’s concordance above read: i.e. sea-serpent or jackal. So I am not saying that every time you see the word dragon that it could be referring to a dinosaur, but I am saying that in some of those cases it might be.

At the time of the translating of the KJV Bible the English word dinosaur had not yet been coined.
Word Origin & History according to dictionary.com:

1841, coined in Modern Latin by Sir Richard Owen, from comb. form of Greek deinos “terrible” (see dire) + sauros “lizard” (see -saurus). Figurative sense of “person or institution not adapting to change” is from 1952.

As you can see from the word origin of dinosaur it meant terrible lizard. As you know lizards are reptiles and the word dinosaur literally meant fearful lizard.

Funk & Wagnalls Dictionary
Dinosaur – One of a group of extinct reptiles, widely distributed during the Mesozoic period and including the largest known land animals.

There is two things of importance that I would like to draw your attention to here. First that in the very definition of the word dinosaur they include the Mesozoic period. Remember the Mesozoic period is referring to the geologic column of time of which is completely unbiblical.

World English Dictionary
Mesozoic
— adj 1. of, denoting, or relating to an era of geological time that began 250 000 000 years ago with the Triassic period and lasted about 185 000 000 years until the end of the Cretaceous period

The second thing of importance in the definition of the word dinosaur is that it included the largest known land animals, and as we learned from Smith’s Bible dictionary the word tannin seems to refer to any great monster, whether of the land or the sea, being indeed more usually applied to some kind of serpent or reptile, but not exclusively restricted to that sense.

Isaiah 27:1-2 (KJV)
1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2 In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.

from (lavah); a wreathed animal, i.e. a serpent (especially the crocodile or some other large sea-monster); figurative the constellation of the dragon; also as a symbol of Babylon :- leviathan, mourning.—Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary

Isaiah 27:1-2 (NKJV)
1 In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.
2 In that day sing to her, “A vineyard of red wine!

Notice the connection here of Leviathan being a crooked serpent and dragon. Also take notice that the NKJV rendered the word for dragon as reptile.

This particular serpent or dragon in reference is actually referring to the end time world governmental system of power or the seven headed, ten horned beast of Revelation of which is a dragon. This is a lesson for another day but as you may realize this word leviathan and dragon here is not referring to a crocodile but rather to a sea monster of which the word tannin is being rendered in the KJV as dragon. Remember the word tannin refers to any great monster, whether of the land or the sea.

Chapter 27
Isa 27:1-13. CONTINUATION OF THE TWENTY-FOURTH, TWENTY-FIFTH, AND TWENTY-SIXTH CHAPTERS
At the time when Israel shall be delivered, and the ungodly nations punished, God shall punish also the great enemy of the Church. —Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

Let us now focus our attention on the 41st book of Job, briefly using Adam Clarke’s Commentary.

Job 41:1-34
1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?

The Septuagint has, “Canst thou draw out the DRAGON?” The Syriac and Arabic have the same. A species of whale has been supposed to be the creature in question; but the description suits no animal but the crocodile or alligator; and it is not necessary to seek elsewhere—Adam Clarke’s Commentary

2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

Remember Adam Clarke’s commentary said, “the description suits no animal but the crocodile or alligator; and it is not necessary to seek elsewhere”—Adam Clarke’s Commentary

By his neesings a light doth shine—It is very likely that this may be taken literally. When he spurts up the water out of his nostrils, the drops form a sort of iris or rainbow. —Adam Clarke’s Commentary

19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.

Out of his mouth go burning lamps—Dr. Young, in his paraphrase, has a sensible note on this passage:—”This is nearer the truth than at first view may be imagined. The crocodile, according to naturalists, lying long under water, and being there forced to hold its breath, when it emerges, the breath long repressed is hot, and bursts out so violently, that it resembles fire and smoke. —Adam Clarke’s Commentary

20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.

These two verses are skipped in Adam Clarke’s Commentary.

22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.

In his neck remaineth strength—Literally, “strength has its dwelling in his neck.” The neck is the seat of strength of most animals; but the head and shoulders must be here meant, as the crocodile has no neck, being shaped nearly like a lizard. —Adam Clarke’s Commentary

23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

This is certainly not a description of a crocodile or of a whale. This is describing what we would call a fire breathing dragon. To account this creature as the crocodile or whale is being willingly ignorant of not only what was spoken of concerning this creature but also that “in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day”.

This creature was called a leviathan in verse 1 and as we read from the account of Isaiah 27 the leviathan was called a dragon and that particular leviathan was actually referring to the end time world governmental system of power or the seven headed, ten horned beast of Revelation of which is a dragon.

Let us now turn our attention to the Behemoth. The creature that you are about to hear described to you has been said to be, by many commentaries of scripture, either an elephant or a hippopotamus. However, if one were not willingly ignorant of the six day creation of God a Brachiosaurus would better fit the description of this creature.

Job 40:15-24
15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

The catholic encyclopedia states, “The cedar is described as a tree “of a high stature” (Ezekiel 31:3; Isaiah 2:13; 37:24; 2 Kings 19:23), whose “height was exalted above all the trees of the country”. “All this is verified in the cedar of Libanus, which is the stateliest and most majestic tree of Palestine. It often reaches a height of 100 feet and more”.

18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

The brachiosaurus was approximately 50 feet tall and weighed 120,000 pounds. Its length from head to tail was 100 feet. (This sounds more like the chief of the ways of God.)

20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

The mountains bring him forth food – It cannot therefore be the hippopotamus, as he is seldom found far from the rivers where he has his chief residence. —Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible

21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.

And fens – “marsh, marshy places.” This passage proves that the elephant is not here referred to. He is never found in such places. —Barnes’ Notes on the Bible

22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

The hippopotamus drinks up to 56 gallons of water every day and the elephant drinks up to 60 gallons of water every day. This creature trusts that he can draw up the Jordan river into his mouth.

24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

To believe that this creature could have been the brachiosaurus is to believe that man and dinosaur walked the Earth together. It is also to dismiss the so-called geologic column as well as the false teaching of evolution that does not agree with the Biblical account of creation. And for these reasons they are willingly ignorant of the Biblical account of creation as well as the flood of Noah that created the fossil record when “the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” (2 Peter 3:6)

Genesis 7:17-24
17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Hebrews 6:10-15
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward His “Name”, the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s promise to you “Surely blessing” I will bless thee and multiplying “I Will Multipy Thee”! This hope we have as an anchor for our soul! For God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love!

Through the “Word of God”—I bring you glad tidings of good things! The Lord is our Helper! If God be for you—who can be against you? I will not fear what man can do to me.

No weapon formed against you shall harm you!

Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in me! In my Father’s House are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also!

John 14:1-3
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Luke 12:32
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

The Lord’s Kingdom; Jesus said my Kingdom is not of this earth; but my Kingdom comes in, without observation for it is within you; we the Church are the Lord’s Kingdom!

Jesus came walking on the sea—and when His disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they cried out in fear; But Jesus said, Fear Not it is I—Be not afraid.

Church fear not for Jesus acknowledges your work and Labor of Love toward His Name! In that you have minister to the saints, who are the Lord’s Body, and do presently minister to one another.

God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty. For not many wise men after the flesh, not my mighty, not many Noble are called! God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; But God has chosen us–the poor in spirit, but rich in faith!

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment.

1 John 4:18
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

The perfect love of Christ in us delivers us from all fear from man, from satan, from death and hell.

Many times when we think of scriptures concerning the end of days or the rapture, Matthew chapter 24 and the book of Revelation comes to mind, and rightfully so. We also tend to very much lean on the majority point of view concerning the end of days being a seven year period of tribulation where the Church is caught away or raptured just prior to this taking place. This is the most popular point of view of the Christian world today. But is it correct?

Let’s begin by taking a look at “Statements Jesus made in the Gospels Concerning the End of Days and the Rapture of the Church”.

View Complete Endtime Bible Series

Matthew 13:36-50
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

What did Jesus say was the interpretation of the parable of the parable of the tares of the field? 1) He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man 2) The field is the world 3) But the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil 4) The harvest is the end of the world 5) The reapers are the angels.

Forget all of the different teachings you have heard concerning the end of days and the rapture of the saints of God and look again at what Jesus said. Jesus said the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels. You may first think this only applies to the tares, but not so. Verse 49 clears that up for us “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just”.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

When? So shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Still not sure? The parable that is being interpreted here says “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13:24-30)

What did verses 28 through 30 say again? “He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” (Matthew 13:28-30)

Who was gathered first? The tares or the wheat? When was the harvest? The answer was given in verse 39 4) The harvest is the end of the world 5) The reapers are the angels. And the tares were gathered before the wheat!

(Continuing from Matthew 13)

44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

There it is again. When shall it be? So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

According to Jesus the rapture or gathering together of the saints of God is during the harvest of which is clearly written that it will be at the end of the world!

Let’s take another look at what Jesus says concerning the rapture or the gathering together of the saints. It might surprise you.

John 6:39-54
39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

When should he raise up all which the Father give him? At the last day!

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

So every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life will be raised up when and by whom? I will raise him up at the last day!

41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

You mean he said it again? I will raise him up at the last day.

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

What did Jesus say? Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life and when will he raise them up? At the last day!

John 11:21-26
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

What was Martha’s response?

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

That was pretty plain. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. So she understood the teaching of Jesus concerning the resurrection or the rapture of the Church and she quoted back to Jesus what he had been teaching which was “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Now you may begin trying to reason out why this does not agree with the majority view of the Christian world today in regards to the end of days and the rapture of the Church? You may say well this is the last day before the day of the Lord. And the day of the Lord is the final seven years. This is a major belief of many people. However, the scriptures identify to us when the Day of the Lord begins and it is not during the seven years of Daniel’s seventieth week. Look what Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:29-31.

Matthew 24:29-31
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Look closely here. Immediately after the tribulation these signs the sun is darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

Now look closely at what is said here:

Acts 2:19-21
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

These same signs are shown to take place before that great and notable day of the Lord comes whereas it was immediately after the tribulation of those days in Matthew 24:29 above.

This conclusively reveals to us that the Day of the Lord begins after the tribulation of those days! So it is not true that the Day of the Lord is a seven year period of time. So this once again shows us that the last day the Lord spoke of was exactly what he said in Matthew 13:38-43, 49

Matthew 13:36-43, 49
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

1) The field is the world 2) The harvest is the end of the world 3) The reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

When? So shall it be in the end of this world. Or as Jesus said throughout the book of John “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

Now that you can see that the harvest is the end of the world, and Jesus said, I will raise him up at the last day, and the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, now compare verses 40-43 with what was revealed to Daniel the Prophet concerning what the Angel of the Lord revealed to him. (Daniel 10:21)

Daniel 12:1-3
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

{MT 13:40-41 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;}

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

{Mt 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.}

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

{MT 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.}

Michael is the Archangel of God and as you can see this is depicting the same time that Jesus revealed to us of which was the harvest is the end of the world, and Jesus said, I will raise him up at the last day, and the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the who? The archangel which is Michael. When does this take place according to Jesus? The end of the world, I will raise him up at the last day, and the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just!

This should bring forth new understanding to you when you read Matthew chapter 24. You will notice after reading most of Matthew 24 the Lord gives a parable to help us to better understand what he had just spoken and what does the parable reveal to us? The same thing that Jesus had already told us previously concerning the end of days and the rapture of the Church!

Matthew 24:40-51
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

We also must remember that it was man that added chapters and verses to our Bible. Though verse 51 was the end of Chapter 24 of Matthew according to those who inserted the chapter breaks, keep reading what Jesus says concerning the end of days and the rapture of the Church as Jesus continues to give us another parable to help us to better understand what was written in the earlier portion of Matthew chapter 24.

Matthew 25:1-13
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

As you can see Jesus reveals to us 1 ) the harvest is the end of the world; 2) and the reapers are the angels, 3) the tares will be gathered together before the wheat, 4) And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Daniel 12:1-3
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

{MT 13:40-41 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;}

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

{MT 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.}

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

{MT 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.}

So far in our End Time Prophecy Checklist – Part 1 we have found that there will be 1) The four beasts or nations of Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation Chapter 13 which will be in existence at the time of the end. 2) The abomination of Desolation that will take place. 3) There will be a confirmation of the covenant which will confirm Israel’s covenant right to exist as a nation as was given to them by God to Abram 4) Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. 5) A third Temple will be built in Jerusalem likely part of the confirmation of the covenant. 6) There will arise a false prophet that will force those who dwell on the earth to worship the anti-christ. 7) The false prophet will force all, whether small or great, rich or poor, free or bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads, known to us as the mark of the beast and that without it no man might buy or sell, except he that has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 8) There will also be a religious system that the false prophet rules over known as MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Remember all the prophetic signs given to us must be taking place at the same time with some being fulfilled while others the stage is set for them to take place because the ability for them to take place is part of the prophetic signs that we are to be looking for. So far the stage for all eight of these prophetic signs are in place.

9. The Battle of Ezekiel 38-39 and the Nations and Lands involved

Ezekiel 38:1-23
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

This battle has become known as the battle of Gog and Magog. This is also believed to be by many people the same battle as that of the battle of Armageddon. The many similarities between these battles let’s us know that this battle is the same battle as that of Armageddon.

The bear of Daniel chapter 7, which is one of the nations that will be on Earth at the time of the end, which is Russia, will lead this attack with the support of the International community. Webster’s Third International Dictionary defines Meshech as the word for Moschi from which comes the word Moscow. Moscow is the capital of Russia. There is also a Tobol River in Russia and a city of 47,000 called Tobolsk.

3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

The Prophet Ezekiel describes a future attack on Israel by Gog and Magog (Russia), and the mainly Islamic countries of Persia (Iran, portions of northern Iraq and Afghanistan), Cush (Ethiopia and Sudan), Put (Libya, possibly Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco), Gomer (Eastern Europe) and the House of Togarmah (Turkey and Armenia).

The Prophet Zechariah describes this battle as “Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.” (Zech 14:1-2)

7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

“Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” (Zech 14:3-4)

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” (Joel 3:2) “Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.” (Joel 3:9-17)

Continued from Ezekiel 38
17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

Gog, &c. are here identified with the enemies spoken of in other prophecies (Nu 24:17-24 Isa 27:1; compare Isa 26:20, 21 Jer 30:23, 24 Joe 3:1 Mic 5:5, 6 Isa 14:12-14 Isa 59:19).—Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

Since we know that this battle is the battle of Armageddon there are other clues we should be watching for as well described within this battle.

10. Vial 6, Seal 6, Seal 7, Vial 7, Trumpet 7

10a. Vial 6

Revelation 16:12-21
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. [Armageddon]
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. [A reminder of the rapture of the Church to watch and pray so that we can escape the day of the Lord’s wrath]
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Turkey has the ability to stop the flow of the Euphrates river via the Ataturk Dam and this may possibly be how “the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared” to invade Israel. In January 1990, when the first phase of the dam was completed, Turkey held back the flow of the Euphrates river entirely for a month to begin filling up the reservoir.

Continued from Ezekiel 38
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
[Seal 6, Seal 7, Trumpet 7, Vial 7]
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

10b. Seal 6

Revelation 6:12-17
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

10c. Seal 7 in the latter portion of the verse taking place after “every one that shall be found written in the book.”

Daniel 12:1
12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

10d. Vial 7 though against the time of trouble, the three and one half years of the Great Tribulation, it is reserved for “the day of battle and war” which is the battle of Armageddon.

Job 38:22-23
22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, [Vial 7]
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? [Armageddon] [Also compare this verse with Daniel 12:1 above]

10e. Trumpet 7

Revelation 10:7
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:15-17
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
[Vial 7, Seal 6, Trumpet 7]

Revelation 17:12-14
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Ezekiel 39:1-29
1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. [ A reference to the supper of the great God in Revelation 19 expounded upon more in verses 17-20]
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

When this battle of Gog and Magog takes place, which is the battle of Armageddon, we can see that the ending is “the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.”

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. [Seal 6, Seal 7, Trumpet 7, Vial 7]

Continued from Ezekiel 39
9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.
12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.
16 And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.
17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

Revelation 19:11-21
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [Armageddon]
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Continued from Ezekiel 39
21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.
23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.
27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

Zechariah 12:9-11
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

As the mourning of Hadadrimmon—They shall mourn as deeply for the crucified Christ as their forefathers did for the death of Josiah, who was slain at Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.—Adam Clarke’s Commentary

As in Zec 12:10 the bitterness of their mourning is illustrated by a private case of mourning, so in this verse by a public one, the greatest recorded in Jewish history, that for the violent death in battle with Pharaoh-necho of the good King Josiah, whose reign had been the only gleam of brightness for the period from Hezekiah to the downfall of the state; lamentations were written by Jeremiah for the occasion (2Ki 23:29, 30 2Ch 35:22-27).—Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

Armageddon Armaged’don (the hill or city of Megiddo). Reve 16:16 The scene of the struggle of good and evil is suggested by that battle-field, the plain of Esdraelon, which was famous for two great victories, of Barak over the Canaanites and of Gideon over the Midianites; and for two great disasters, the deaths of Saul and Josiah. Hence it signifies in Revelation a place of great slaughter, the scene of a terrible retribution upon the wicked. The Revised Version gives the name as Har-Magedon, i.e. the hill (as Ar is the city) of Megiddo.—ED.)
—Smith’s Bible Dictionary

Occurs only in Rev 16:16 (R.V., “Har-Magedon”), as symbolically designating the place where the “battle of that great day of God Almighty” (Rev 14) shall be fought. The word properly means the “mount of Megiddo.” It is the scene of the final conflict between Christ and Antichrist. The idea of such a scene was suggested by the Old Testament great battle-field, the plain of Esdraelon (q.v.). —Easton’s Illustrated Dictionary

11. It shall be as the days of Lot (Sodom and Gomorrah) and as the days of Noah “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Gen 6:5)

Luke 17:22-29
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Matthew 24:35-42
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Jude 1:5-7
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

12. Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils

1 Timothy 4:1-5
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

13. In the last days perilous times shall come

2 Timothy 3:1-7
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times (immediate danger) shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves (selfish), covetous (desiring of others stuff), boasters (excessive pride), proud (satisfaction in one’s achievements), blasphemers (speak evil against God), disobedient to parents (do not obey), unthankful (no gratitude), unholy (without morality or virtue),
3 Without natural affection (normal or to be expected), trucebreakers (breaking your agreement), false accusers (claim that someone has done something wrong), incontinent (lacking self-restraint; uncontrolled), fierce (violent or aggressive), despisers of those that are good (feeling that a person who is good is worthless or beneath consideration),
4 Traitors (a person who betrays a friend, country, principle), heady (headstrong), highminded (arrogantly superior), lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (lovers of ungodly lusts)
5 Having a form of godliness (religious pretense), but denying the power thereof (of the Spirit and the doctrines): from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

14. There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts

2 Peter 3:3-7
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

15. All these are the beginning of sorrows

Matthew 24:2-8
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

These particular signs given to us by Jesus appear to be signs that have continually taken place since the time he spoke it. Therefore it is extremely difficult to determine what is meant by each one of these signs identified as “All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

However Jesus says at this same time we also are to be looking for what he told us “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matt 24:5-7) These signs are only the beginning of sorrows and we are not told how long they will last before Daniel’s seventieth week of years will begin or what is commonly known as the Great Tribulation of which we have already found is only the final three and one half years of the seven year period of time.

Jesus does tell us explicitly “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matt 24:33-35) Therefore I believe that since many of the prophetic signs given to us concerning the end of days or the end times that some of the signs can be seen in multiple generations spanning the time since the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD that we are given this verse of scripture to help us to be able to understand precisely when we see all these prophetic signs that they must be taking place at the same time with some being fulfilled while others the stage is set for them to take place because the ability for them to take place is part of the prophetic signs that we are to be looking for, and that when we do see all of them taking place or the stage set for them to take place that we are given a guarantee by God who can not lie “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matt 24:33-35)

All these are the beginning of sorrows

15a. Many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ.

According to the Wikipedia in the twenty and twenty-first century this is a list of people who have claimed to be Jesus: Ernest Norman, Krishna Venta, Jim Jones, Marshall Applewhite, Hulon Mitchell Jr., Laszlo Toth, Wayne Bent, Mitsuo Matayoshi, Inri Cristo, Shoko Asahara, Hogen Fukunaga, Sergey Torop, Apollo Quiboloy, Alan John Miller, and David Shayler.

However Jesus also continues into Daniel’s seventieth week of seven years and says, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matt 24:21-27)

15b. Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars and Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

The wars that have taken place since 1948 are far to numerous to list. This not including rumors of wars. Here is a list of the wars according to the Wikipedia that are currently taking place as of 2011 to the present being 2016 with the wars starting at any of the years from 2011 upward. Sinai insurgency, Syrian Civil War, Sudanese conflict in South Kordofan and Blue Nile, Ethnic violence in South Sudan, Central African Republic conflict, South Sudanese Civil War, Iraqi Civil War, Libyan Civil War, War in Donbass, Military intervention against ISIL, and the Yemeni Civil War.

Many of these wars are causing nation to rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There are also many rumors of wars taking place at this time.

15c. There Shall be Famines.

There have been eighteen famines since 1948 according to the Wikipedia with an estimated death of 23 – 52 million people.

15d. There Shall be Pestilences

I believe this prophetic sign given to us under the beginning of sorrows is one that would apply to every year somewhere in the world and thus will be among the signs of the coming of the Lord that we are to be discerning.

15e. There Shall be Earthquakes in divers places

The final sign of the beginning of sorrows that we are given is concerning earthquakes in divers places. In the book of Luke we are told “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places,” (Luke 21:11) This prophecy does not predict a greater number of earthquakes or that there will be a greater intensity of earthquakes. It just tells us that there will be “great earthquakes” “in divers places”.

In conclusion, most of the prophetic signs that we are watching for requires that Israel be a nation, there must be a dispute concerning the land of Israel, Jerusalem, and the land of Judea (the West Bank), there must be an agreement made concerning the disputed land (the confirmation of the covenant), and there must also be a temple erected by the Jews after an agreement is made concerning the disputed land of which will lead to the abomination of desolation by the anti-christ in the midst of the week or three and one half years into Daniel’s seventieth week of years.

We are also told what nations and lands we are to be watching for concerning the one world government, the four beasts or nations of Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation Chapter 13 which will be in existence at the time of the end. There will be an increase of knowledge given. There will arise a false prophet that will force those who dwell on the earth to worship the anti-christ. The false prophet will force all, whether small or great, rich or poor, free or bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads, known to us as the mark of the beast and that without it no man might buy or sell, except he that has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. The false prophet will also rule over the harlot religious system known as MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
